Can Parliament remove Judges?

Depending on the country and legal system, the ability to remove judges varies. In some countries, parliament has the authority to remove judges through impeachment or another similar procedure.

In the United States, for example, judges can be impeached by the House of Representatives, tried, and removed by the Senate. Judges of the Supreme Court and High Courts in India can be removed through an impeachment process initiated by Parliament.

Parliament doesn't have the authority to remove judges in other countries, such as the United Kingdom. Judges, on the other hand, can only be removed for cause, such as misconduct or incapacity, through a disciplinary process overseen by the Judicial Appointments and Conduct Ombudsman and the Judicial Conduct Investigations Office.
